ASCENT

ASCENT is the "5th Year high school" program.  After completing high school, students can take courses for one year, full time, at Front Range Community College or AIMS Community College, full time, tuition paid. 

Requirements: 

  • Must have 12 college credits before completing high school (AP does not count) 
  • Must meet all high school graduation requirements on time
  • Complete application process during senior year 

Benefits: 

  • Low cost option for college credit 
  • Student only responsible for fees and text/supplies. 

Consideration: 

  • Program funding is not determined until after graduation. 
  • No access to Federal aid or scholarships during this year. 
  • Must pass courses with a C or higher.
